Affiliate discretion

As you read through the recipes or see products and services recommended by me somewhere on the site (like on my shop page), those links may be affiliate links. If you click on any of those affiliate links and make a purchase within a certain time frame, I’ll earn a small commission. The commission is paid by the retailers, at no cost to you.

For example, if I link to my favorite mixing bowls (or a candle I’m currently loving or a book I’m reading) and that link leads you to Amazon and you end up making a purchase within the next 24 hours, I may receive a small commission. This payment comes from Amazon directly and not from you.

I’m always careful to link to products and retailers that I use myself and that I like. Occasionally I’ll link to items that I have not used just yet, but are on my wish list (e.g. a book I’m buying soon or an espresso machine I desperately want) or items that are a US / EU equivalent of what I’m using (as not everything available in Europe is available in the US and vice versa). I do however always do research before sharing any links and I read through reviews to make sure a product I share is worthy of being recommended.

Money earned keeps Sugarsalted running and allows me to do what I love for a living. Thank you for your support. Really!
