Cut the vanilla bean in half and scrape out the seeds. At the seeds and the vanilla bean to a saucepan, cover it with sugar and 1/2 cup (120 ml) water. Cook on medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely and the syrup is a golden color. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
To make the iced coffee, fill up two glasses with ice. Divide the coffee between the two. Add 1-2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup and top with milk. Serve. Keep leftover syrup in a jar in the refrigerator.
Notes
Adjust the amount of coffee and milk to your taste. You can use brown sugar in place of regular.
