Chestnut choco oats smoothie

The ultimate autumn smoothie!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 50g (1/2 cup) rolled oats
  • 360ml (1 1/2 cups) milk
  • 1 medium banana
  • 80g (about 1/2 cup) roasted and peeled chestnuts
  • 3 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon raw cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. First grind the oats. Put oats in a blender and blend on maximum speed until they turn into powder. Pour in milk and blend until incorporated. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour smoothie in a glass, sprinkle with more cinnamon and oats, if desired.

Notes

Make vegan: use milk of plant origin. I think almond milk would work great.
