I’ve got neeeews! BIG FAT IMPORTANT NEWS.
This post is my official blog name change announcement!
Towards the end of next week, Mitzy At Home is permanently changing and will be renamed to Sugar Salted >>> www.sugarsalted.com
YAY! Finally. I purchased the domain a long time ago, forever it seems, and I’ve been waiting to do this. There’s just something about December that feels right and December is my favorite month, so here we are.
Now, I guess you’re wondering…
The name Mitzy At Home was inspired by my mom’s nickname for me and it will always be a part of who I am. But I’ve grown in the past few years and while I will carry my mom in my heart forever, I feel like I need to move forward from “Mitzy”. It’s almost like I’m graduating and I am now stepping into the next stage of this journey.
Sugar Salted better matches what my blog is about. You know I love my sweet recipes, as well as salty. I don’t (just) sugar-coat things, I sugar-salt them, hence the name Sugar Salted.
WHAT exactly is changing?
Just the blog name and website address – URL. At the end of the week, Mitzy At Home (sugarsalted.com) will become Sugar Salted (sugarsalted.com)
WHAT is NOT changing?
My obvious love for cooking, my recipes and writing, my endless rambling about TV shows and music, … really, all that’s changing is the name. I’ll still be Alice – the girl that is equally obsessed with chocolate cake and comfort food as she is with smoothies and salads.
The technical side of things:
All links (including recipe-specific links) will automatically redirect from sugarsalted.com to sugarsalted.com If you find any broken links or have trouble with anything, please let me know.
To match the new blog name, I will update all my social media accounts/pages, but you don’t have to worry about that. If you are following Mitzy At Home on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook, you will be automatically following Sugar Salted.
If you are subscribed via email (or RSS), you don’t have to worry either as I will take care of those redirects as well.
Last but not least:
Thank you! For being here month after month, for your support of Mitzy At Home and now (soon) Sugar Salted. It truly means so much to me.
