Berry banana frozen smoothie bowl

Berry banana frozen smoothie bowl, made with vanilla yogurt, acai powder and a lot of fruit! Topped with some peach sorbet and coconut chips for extra flavor. A great, healthy breakfast or even lunch. |

Icy and packed with fruit!  A great summer breakfast or even lunch. Big enough for 2.


  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) coconut water (juice)
  • 120ml (1/2 cup) vanilla flavored yogurt
  • 3 teaspoons acai berry powder
  • 1 cup of berries of choice (I used frozen blackberries and blueberries)
  • coconut chips
  • melon balls (optional)
  • 3 scoops coconut nectarine peach sorbet (optional)


  1. Transfer bananas, coconut water, yogurt and acai powder to a blender or food processor. Blend on high until the mixture is completely creamy. Taste to see if you want more yogurt or coconut water.
  2. Transfer smoothie to a large bowl. Top with berries, coconut chips, melon balls and peach sorbet (if using).


You can easily use only 1/2 of the ingredients for a smaller portion. Or you can freeze 1/2 of it and make smoothie “ice cream” scoops instead of using the sorbet.
